Senior Pharmaceutical Sales Specialist, Advanced Specialty Care ATTR - Baltimore, MD
Typical Accountabilities:
• Provides thought leadership and innovation to shape and develop the training and development strategy for the Sales function in line with the company’s people strategy.
• Works in partnership with other training colleagues within HR to ensure consistency of design and application in training standards across AstraZeneca.
• Develops and maintains a strong trusted advisor relationship with the Sales function, ensuring the training strategy is integrated into business requirements and delivers business outcomes.
• Leads and manages the team of Sales training specialists, ensuring individual performance is managed, training and development is provided and succession planned for effectively.
• Ensures that tactical leadership decisions are enforced in order for the business to achieve its objectives
• Creates an environment of change, encouraging others to suggest areas for improvement in existing tools, methods or processes to deliver world class training and development activities.
• Oversees the monitoring of training programmes for the Sales function, the results of these assessments and makes decisions to enhance programmes on the basis of the information.
• Designs and implements new Sales training and development programmes on the basis of training needs analysis outcomes and in partnership with the business to fully understand skills gaps and future growth requirements.
• Coaches and delivers effect performance to direct and indirect reports creating a supportive work environment where everyone has the opportunity to fulfil their potential
